Plan from account weight
Planned shares equal account total multiplied by target position weight, divided by entry price, then rounded down to whole shares.
See the stop risk
When the stop is below entry, estimated risk equals shares multiplied by the distance from entry to stop. The calculator also shows that risk as a percentage of the account. This assumes an exit at the entered stop; gaps, slippage, and fees can change the realized loss.
Compare with a 1% budget
A reverse calculation shows the maximum whole shares for a 1% account-risk budget, so you can compare position weight with stop-based risk before deciding. The 1% value is a calculation reference, not a recommended risk setting.
